MedlinePlus is a consumer health website developed by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. It is the best place to start your search for reliable online health information to help you make informed healthcare decisions. You will find health topics pages, drug information, a medical encyclopedia, videos, and links to health websites from reputable sources like the Mayo Clinic. Take the MedlinePlus video tour!
The POWER Library includes many full-text article databases available to Pennsylvanians through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. Consumer Health Complete is a database that includes articles from popular magazines like Prevention, Men’s Health, and Women’s Health. You can also find articles from medical journals on specific health conditions as well as a medical dictionary, images, and videos to help you learn more about health topics.
