Our Expanded Catalog is Here!

Please read this information carefully.

Exciting news! The Columbia County Traveling Library and the Orangeville Public Library are adding the Bloomsburg Public Library to their partnership to provide seamless borrowing and returning of books, audiobooks, and DVDs among the three partner libraries. You now have access to about 40,000 items from the Bloomsburg Public Library and a total of 100,000 items from all partner libraries!

All three libraries are now sharing one catalog system. This means you can reserve books from any partner library and they will be delivered to your preferred pickup location within 4-10 days.

You can also return your library books at any partner library and we will route them back to their home library.

All three libraries are fine-free and have consistent borrowing policies.

PLEASE REGISTER TO SIGN UP OR TO CONFIRM YOUR INFORMATION

It will help us if you complete this registration form to confirm your information and preferred pickup location, even if you have a pre-existing account.

YOU HAVE A NEW, EASIER TO USE, USERNAME AND PASSWORD:

1) Your username will typically be the full email you used when registering for your account, e.g. marysmith123@gmail.com.
(If not, then try firstnamelastname, e.g. marysmith.)

2) All passwords have been reset to the following formula:

first three letters of last name + last four digits of phone number + asterisk

If Mary Smith has the phone number 570-555-6332, her password would be smi6332*

You can log in to the new catalog by clicking on the person icon at the top right of the catalog home screen.

If this does not work, there may be an issue with your information not being up to date. Please call 570-387-8782 for assistance.

Once you log in, you can go to the ‘Account’ section to change your password. We strongly recommend this. You can use the ‘Forgot Password’ feature on the login screen anytime you forget your password.

(We apologize for the inconvenience for some of you who have already re-set your password, but it was necessary to get all library users on the same page.)

You can also click on ‘Library Card’ in the Account section to get the account number you need to use EBranchToGo (Libby), POWER Library, and other online resources.

Once in the catalog, you can search for books using the search bar at the top of the home screen.

You can click the ‘Reserve’ button to request books. Anything you reserve will be sent to your preferred pickup location, You will receive a notification when it is ready for pickup.

There is no longer a fee for folks from the Traveling Library service area to use the Bloomsburg Public Library thanks to our partnership.

This will be an adjustment, but we can’t wait for you to benefit from all the new possibilities!
