Traveling Library

The Traveling Library, our bookmobile, is our main library with about 5000 of our newest books, audiobooks, and DVDs. The Traveling Library stops in the Benton, Millville, Mifflinville, and Catawissa areas and visits schools and pre-schools. See the Schedule & Hours page for the quarterly bookmobile schedule and listing of community visits.

Central Branch Library

The Central Branch Library is the operational headquarters of the Columbia County Traveling Library and serves as a large branch library with about 20,000 books, audiobooks, and DVDs to browse and borrow. There is a children’s area for storytimes, family visits, and play dates. We accept donations of books for our book sales here all year-round. See the Schedule & Hours page for operating hours. Use the lower parking lot in the back of the building to get to the library entrance. See map and get driving directions.

Benton Area Branch Library

This regional branch library at the Northern Columbia County Community & Cultural Center (N4Cs) has about 2500 items which you can browse and check out anytime the center is open. The staff at the N4Cs front desk can help you. You can also return any Traveling Library or Orangeville Public Library books at the front desk. If you set this branch as your default pickup location, we can leave your items for pickup anytime the center is open. Any Traveling Library patron can use the library, regardless of whether or not you have a membership with N4Cs. See the Schedule & Hours page for operating hours. See map and get driving directions.
