ALL COLUMBIA COUNTY TRAVELING LIBRARY AND ORANGEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY PATRONS HAVE A NEW LIBRARY NUMBER TO USE FOR ALL ONLINE LIBRARY RESOURCES.

 

Libby is a service that provides our users free access to 15,000+ Ebooks, 5000+ Online Audiobooks, and 4000+ Online Magazines. 

 

You may be asked to verify your Libby Card number. Follow these instructions to locate your NEW number.

 

 

We merged your old Libby account with the new account behind the scenes, so you should not have lost any active checkouts or holds.

 

 

We will be purchasing extra digital ‘copies’ of popular Libby books to reduce the wait time for our users in the hold queue.

 

 

You will also need this number for Kanopy Plus, Comics Plus, POWER Library and other online library resources.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETRIEVING YOUR NEW LIBRARY NUMBER

 

Log in to the new shared library catalog with your new login info. Here are the steps to take:

 

 

1) Go to www.bloomsburgpl.org and click ‘Catalog’.

 

 

2) Click the button that says ‘Connect to New Catalog’

 

 

3) Click the ‘person icon’ at the top right to find the login form. You will need your new username and password.

 

 

YOUR CATALOG USERNAME

 

Everyone has a new username for the library catalog.

 

 

Use your full email address (example: marysmith123@gmail.com)

OR try firstnamelastname (example: marysmith)

OR call or email for assistance — see below.

 

 

YOUR CATALOG PASSWORD

 

All library catalog passwords have been reset using this formula:

 

 

first three letters of last name in lower case
plus

last four digits of phone number

plus

asterisk (*)

 

 

example:

If Mary Smith has the phone number 570-555-6332,

her password is:

smi6332*

 

(Don’t forget the asterisk!)

 

We recommend that you log in to the catalog and change your password. Go to ‘Account’ and then ‘Change Password.’

 

 

GET YOUR ONLINE LIBRARY ACCOUNT NUMBER

 

Once logged in to the catalog, go to ‘Account’ and then ‘Library Card’ to see the number you will need for Libby and other electronic library resources.

 

 

Everyone has a library account number that starts with B, C, or O and is followed by five numbers, for example B12345, C56789, or O23456.
