SCHEDULE AND HOURS

HOLIDAYS
Libraries will be closed on the following federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (and the following Friday & Saturday), and Christmas Day (and Dec. 24). We will be on a modified schedule between Christmas and New Year’s Day. We will be open for normal hours on other federal holidays. The Benton Area Branch Library will follow the N4Cs holiday schedule.

Traveling Library Schedule

The Traveling Library, our bookmobile, is our main library with about 5000 of our newest books, audiobooks, and DVDs. The Traveling Library stops in the Benton, Millville, Mifflinville, and Catawissa areas and visits schools and pre-schools.

Central Branch Library Hours

702 Sawmill Road, Bloomsburg
(near Lightstreet – use lower entrance in rear parking lot)

The Central Branch Library is the operational headquarters of the Columbia County Traveling Library and serves as a large branch library with about 18,000 books, audiobooks, and DVDs to browse and borrow. There is a children’s area for storytimes, family visits, and play dates.

Monday – Tuesday:   9am–6pm   
Wednesday:  9am–3pm
Thursday – Saturday: 10am–1pm

Book drop available in lobby from 8:30am – 4:30pm Mon-Fri. — a 24/7 outdoor book drop is coming soon.

Benton Area Branch Library Hours

Northern Columbia Community and Cultural Center (N4Cs)
42 Community Dr., Benton

This regional branch library has about 2500 books, audiobooks, and DVDs. You can browse, check out, return, and pick up library books anytime the center is open. The staff at the N4Cs front desk can help you. If you set this branch as your preferred pickup location, we can leave your items for pickup anytime the center is open.

Monday – Friday: 6am – 8pm 
Saturday: 9am – 4pm
Sunday: Closed

Catawissa Area Branch Library Hours

Catawissa Chiropractic Center Building
353 Main St., Ste. 2, Catawissa

This regional branch library has about 7500 books, audiobooks, and DVDs. You can browse, check out, return, and pick up library books. There is a children’s area for storytimes, family visits, and play dates.

Monday: 12 – 5pm 
Wednesday: 12 – 6pm
Thursday: 9am – 2pm

The Traveling Library is in the Catawissa area on Tuesdays. 

We hope to expand hours with volunteer support. Please email volunteer@cctlibrary.org if you can commit 2-3 hours most weeks as part of a volunteer team.

Orangeville Public Library Hours

Monday – Thursday: 2 – 7pm
Saturday: 9am – 12pm

(Book drop available in lobby 24 hours per day seven days per week for OPL and CCTL items.)
